Wow, it's been a while

I can't believe how long it's been since I posted on here. Work's been crazy busy and it about to get busier (I'm lifeguarding, doing the same thing I've done every summer for the past 8 years.), but that's not the real reason why I haven't posted. The problem is that I'm surrounded by so many fun people (or was) and so much partying that I haven't had time for anything else. It's been great. Joel and I are staying at my parents' house and Joel's roommate from BYU freshman year has been staying with us. Also, two of my friends just returned from their missions, so I've been trying to catch up with them. It's been great. One of my friends served in Brazil which means we can chat and my Portuguese is getting a ton better. In addition to practicing Portuguese, Joel is speaking a lot of German with me, and my brother-in-law Seth is teaching me Spanish. Speaking Portuguese already helps a lot in the process of learning Spanish, but my Spanish still comes out really nasal and all of my 'r's sound like 'h's.
At this point, though, all of my friends have gone back to school or work or other various activities, and I have far too much time on my hands (time I'm sure I will have no trouble filling up). I'll be blogging a lot more, I anticipate :).
